Job Summary: (PC Support Tech)
A majority of the work at On-Site will be fielding IT support requests for both residential and corporate customers. The companies range from 5 to 50 people. (ie: users on a network/server) The residential customers will typically be system clean-up requests related to virus and spyware problems as well as network related issues.
Job Requirements:
- Needs to be able to assist in the day to day operations of computer
repair/service.
- Needs the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues; hardware and software upgrades and installation
- Networking; systems repair; and wiring.
- A strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
- Professional, customer-oriented work ethic; willingness to learn and adapt to an always changing environment.
- Cell phone that is regularly answered. We will need to call you to give you information and directions for appointments.
- Car and valid driver's license for appointments (Gas money will be provided.)
Preferred but not required: CompTIA A+ certification; Network +, MCP, or MCSE also desired.
